when the office becomes a childcare centre you know work isn't going to be boring when someone brings her 7 year old daughter to work! (: Ting Xuan is absolutely adorable! she reminds me just how much i love to be around kids and i would like to think that they love to be around me too. (i am not delusional) it's funny to observe how initially she starts off being really shy but after she warms up to the idea of you, you can totally see the mischievous side of her as she starts to follow you everywhere. it's like one moment, you are a stranger and the next, you are her big sister/best friend.  her inquisitiveness is amazing. she showed me how a calculator is not just a calculator, how a paper clip does more than just clip pieces of paper together... it's like seeing the whole world around you move (sometimes literally, because she can be quite destructive) funniest part of having her in the office:as her mum and i got rather busy. her mum was answering a call and i was busy typing out an invoice, i failed to notice her picking up the extension line next to me. i was absolutely horrified when she 'HELLOOOOO' into the phone while her mum was talking to the customer on the line. kids (: |
