qiling: omg i am beyonce here's how a typical jjqca sleepover would be: for starters, swimming. otherwise known as soaking in the pool with googles on.  terrorizing some random little girl who happens to be in the pool is optional.  followed by a 15min stay in the toilet sauna that resulted in an unfortunate revealing of something close to jaslyn's heart. qiling and i are traumatised till this day. now we have two dramas that unfolded because of the sauna, first jin jen fainting years ago(which we remember and never let her forget) and now this. next up, the newest addition to our sleepover! KARAOKE. funny how qiling and jas thought that i would hate it, but in the end, i was the most determined and enthusiastic one of them all. the black parade is officially my favourite karaoke song ever. qiling's favourite would be anything beyonce. how do i know this? because i quote, qiling (after singing listen): OMG, I AM BEYONCE. how she can say that with an earnest and straight face is beyond me. KFC is like a must.  this is them singing a very old chinese classic. i am amused at the startling contrast of qiling's pained expression and jaslyn's chinese new year lion dance behaviour.  the climax of our sleepovers are definitely the manicures and pedicures. our manicures/pedicures typically last say 3 hours at least. especially if jaslyn is the one doing it. usually throughout the mani/pedi session, you will hear alot of 'JIN JEN/ any other person that is free WOULD YOU BE SO KIND...'  lastly, sleeping arrangements would be decided. usually we fight over who gets to sleep with qiling for the night. this time, the 'lucky' person was jaslyn :)    and then we sleep.or at least, jin jen and i did. the other two had a counseling session all the way till 5 plus. i know because they woke me up at 5 plus before going to sleep. |
