right now , I am in philadelphia waiting for a flight to las vegas for transit before heading to los angeles. Wifi is definitely the best thing to happen to me this summer.

So, we spent one night in new york almost getting high from margarita. Then, one night in philadelphia trying not to freak out in the motel which looked scarily like the one in the bloodslasher movie.

I must say dragging all the stuff we have accumulated in our two months stint was pure torture. you really find yourself appreciating the mrt back in singapore when you realise that the subway in new york has ten thousand stairs and you are holding two huge luggage. The best part of the trip must be the part where we called for a taxi to accomodate 6 luggage and 3 persons only to find a stretch limousine pulling up to pick us up . Unbelievable.

I shall take this chance to apologise to my mum for spending USD371+ to ship back a nine kg package of stuff to singapore. And most of them are not even for me!! I felt like a thousand people just stomped on my foot the instant the UPS guy told me the price. Oh dear god.

from this day onwards, i refuse to watch any movies in the midst of traveling because there is simply no such thing as staying awake for the movie itself when it comes to me and my beloved Sex and the City 2 or Despicable Me for that matter. i am flabbergasted as to how i could sleep so soundly through a movie as awesome as Despicable Me. furthermore, i could not be woken up by woeilin at the end of the show. it was only when the russian guy turned and patted my face that i woke up with a jolt. definitely not my most glamorous moment.

this must be the most exciting post I will ever publish because I am actually using wifi on my phone. prior to this, I had no idea that wifi and handphone could go together. If you are sniggering at this, stop.

anyways, I am on board a ferry to Delaware! It is arguably the best and cheapest way to shop because it is a concentration of factory outlet stores that spans the entire island. Enough said, I am looking forward to hours of tax free and guilt abundant shopping. This would probably be one of the rare times that I'll be online from now on since my work days have officially ended last night. From this day on, no one shall ever ask me how much the roller coaster cost or why the go karts are not included in the wristband. I suspect irritating people like weilun is going to prove me wrong. Ok the ferry is making me nauseous. I'm pretty much looking forward to the last weekend in wildwood. Then good riddance as we head down to new york and then fly off to the west coast next tuesday.probably the best thing to look forward to would be meeting cindy in LA and driving down to San Francisco together. brace yourself, I am going to be back before you can say hello kitty.

i think i have gone full blown insane. my emotions are all over the place. one moment i am happy and the next moment, i am crying. the thing is, i can't even reach the people that i want to hear from. oh my god i am psychotic. please tell me that this is the legendary PMS.


when all we do is hurt alot


oh the truth hurts and lies worse


it's weird waking up to an empty room and having jinglin and woeilin travel without me. thankfully, my day turned out awesome. today is officially my favourite work day ever. i was on a perpetual happy like shit mood from binging on chocolates. i actually went around distributing chocolates. darn, i really need to stop nibbling away at chocolates and gummy bears. i am not a hamster. i shall not nibble. in any case, teaching my new booth buddy, Olga, chinese and playing hide and seek with regina makes work seem alot like play :)


the hilarious part of the day is the fact that i am using paper towels to kill industrial size houseflies at 3.42am while woeilin screams at one corner. i see this as a terribly fun game, just not one that i should be involved in. i really should be sleeping. she is now insisting that i kill the ten hundred flies residing in the kitchen, along the corridor and in the toilet.

sound the alarm, the bugs of summer has come out to play.

ps: the microwave is working fine now. :D
