SOP bangkok trip 18-21st May yes i know. horrors of all horrors i am actually updating! next thing you know pigs are going to start flying (that means you weilun) the long delayed (yea i know understatement of the year) BANGKOK TRIP post! that happened more than one month ago?? best and worst 4 days of my life. for this year at least. it was awesome because this is my first trip overseas with friends for purely get-out-there-and-have-fun-time. and well the things sold there are really cheap. but at the same time, shopping's a nightmare because as surprising as it sounds. i don't really shop much. ok fine i will give you a moment to get over the shock. yea i was saying, i don't really shop much. but when i do, all hell breaks loose. but that's besides the point. even when i shop i am the kind who already have what i want in mind. i might not have a specific idea of what i am looking for, i might not even know what i am looking for. but as i shop around, one look and a trip to the fitting room is all it takes for me to buy them clothes. impulsive buyer some would say. but i would like to think i am a decisive shopper cause nowadays i hardly regret what i buy so you can't really categorize me under impulsive. Decisive's the word! all the shopping from breakfast to dinner was really killing me. i am really amazed by the rest of the gang. they were like still going strong in spirit and also physically even after 5 hours of non-stop shopping. impressive. as usual, i managed to embarrass myself countless times all around bangkok. the turn around and laugh straight into the faces of a thai couple was the classic embarrassing act of all times. alright that was a mistake i honestly thought mavis and kangyu were walking behind me. the worst part was after laughing, i acted as if there was nothing wrong with that and just continued walking to the back to find the elusive mavis and kangyu. all THESE just to tell them about some funny 'aggro' joke regarding yanru if i am not wrong. it's still funny now that i think about it hahaha and the stupid lucas who was trying to pollute my innocent mind by misleading me to say white chicken inversed in chinese. i swear i didn't realise it was a bad word until i said it out. speaking of lucas! worst roommate everrrrr. haha ok he's not that bad. but still he's a lazy bum and everyone has to wait for him every morning. and lucas is a control freak. either that or he has a compulsive disorder to arrange our luggage in ONE specific mirror image way. so you can tell. it was a good trip. one that i particularly enjoyed because of the friends and the huge loot i managed to buy back. i bought so much stuff that kangyu and lucas had to offer their luggage space for me. haha but hey i spent the least among them all ok:D           |
