bear with me, i am being random (really random) it was a sunday morning. beautiful morning.perfect time to lie down and rest. that is before my uncle arrived and dragged my family to lim chu kang. he told us excitedly that there was a beautiful restaurant there, so he was going to bring us there to have an early lunch. i have to admit it was a wonderful idea. too bad we didn't know the name of the restaurant, the address of the restaurant. and most importantly, we didn't know that lim chu kang was so huge. so we spent hours going round and round and round. in the end, we found oursleves at the goat farm.           i always thought breaking a leg or an arm is really cool. and i hope i get to experience it even though i guess it would hurt? left arm preferably. i still want to be able to write with my right hand. however that doesn't mean i am going to throw myself down the stairs anytime soon. i am not crazy. <--- see? random thought oh yea guan called from tekong last sunday. i was quite shocked to receive his call. but he only called because he had to pretend he had someone to call when all the other guys were calling their girlfriends. haha poor thing. in this world there are only very few people who make me wait, and there's even fewer people who make me wait willingly without any complaints. ( mainly because i am always late, so either the person arrives even later than me or they don't arrive at all! ) liwen is one of those people. I do feel apologetic about having made her wait for me throughout our erm 13 years of friendship so waiting one hour yesterday was nothing really. her boyfriend(who is trust me VERY smitten with her haha) joined the both of us for lunch at cafe cartel. liwen and i both ordered the meat lovers meal. i am very proud of myself because i finished everything! liwen, on the other hand kept shoving bits and pieces of meat to her boyfriend, and even so they could not finish it. so i shall state again that i am very proud of myself :D liwen made me so embarrassed when she said proudly that i am all grown up now. it was SHOPPING after lunch. liwen's boyfriend had to leave(it's a girls' outing after all) i have said in the previous entry that i have a problem with shopping. i shop too much or rather i spend too much money shopping. so before we started shopping, i was already telling myself that we were shopping for liwen and not me. but in the end, i bought three items and liwen bought one(after much convincing). sigh! i swear i was feeling guilty the entire time i was buying and paying. liwen says i am easily tempted. i would like to think i am a decisive shopper though. i know what i want and i get what i want! i am quite excited.  ADAM  EVE AND JOSEPH:)                 he does it ALL THE TIME, but he's not likely to fall into some toilet bowl or anything, so no worries. i still can't believe i got it on camera! note to self: driving -do not change lanes at bend -check blind spots! -slow down at traffic lights juction -drive straight and smoothly -remember to off the signal -when the instructor says make a U-turn, search frantically for the U-turn sign and turn AFTER the sign not before -at slope apply handbrake, then step LIGHTLY on accelerator when the amber light comes on -do not stop so near another car(in case the car rolls back) -always check the windscreen mirror before slowing down and moving off -try to pay attention when the instructor is talking(at some point he's going to notice that i have not been listening) -try not to laugh that much when driving(i MUST be a serious driver) -LOOK FAR, have to look out for stupid people who stop their car illegally at the road side, so that i can give a signal then drive about 1.5 metres(how am i supposed to know how far 1.5 metres is just by looking?) away from the car -prepare myself mentally for the horror of learning how to park money -STOP SHOPPING ONLINE -stop thinking about shopping online -lock atm card away if the above two fails others -negotiate with dad on when i can quit -clean my room -pray hard about uni admission? great dinner company yesterday:) xinyu!weihui! let's have dinner again soon(but can we not go fish and co this time? it's not nice,xinyu haha) Thursday, March 22, 2007 @ 4:18 PM

M C R!i think g e r a l d w a y looks like p a u l t w o h i l l!    i have no reason for posting that. i just love seeing w en tworth m ill er on my blog hahawhat happens when the father chinchilla is dark grey?  and the mother chinchilla is pure white? you get a light grey baby chinchilla!the baby's so big(the photo was taken when he was 2 days old) he's one week old today!  i learnt how to make a U-turn today. alright alright i am updating. here's an update. NTU open house(long long time ago) was horrible. The weather was so hot i almost melted. It didn't help that the campus was so big! we had to walk all over the place(and i thought walking around NJC was such a chore, this is actually so much worse). plus i think the whole open house concept is useless. it didn't help me one single bit. i just went there to torture myself under the intense heat(i think the feeling was like being burnt slowly-i know because i have been burnt before! but that's another story.) But one good thing was that i managed to bump into some friends that i have not seen for quite some time like cally! i remember i was watching the horrible dance performance by some "hip hop" dance group(we stopped in our tracks because they were shockingly terrible) and cally was just right next to me:) i got a chance to visit the hostel at NTU because qiling's brother was studying there. the room's alright, a little small though. i can't imagine myself sharing a room with someone but i can't imagine living alone in a room all by myself. either way, i will go crazy.  after the open house, mavis yanru cindy and viv came over to my house. my dad brought us all to a restaurant for a big meal.(my dad can be really generous sometimes). then we came back to my house for a dvd marathon. first it was the devil wears prada. viv and cindy left after the first movie. the rest of us continued to watch final destination 3 (awesome movie!) i got so paranoid after watching that, i kept looking around for signs that i was going to die soon. the last movie was over the hedge(just another light-hearted family comedy). by the time we finished watching, it was like 2 am in the morning, so we all went up to my room to sleep. can i add that it's so cool to have friends over to sleep? it's so cool! i watched the remaining 2 movies, just my luck and united 93 over the next few days. i could not stop smiling while watching the first movie and i could not stop crying while watching the second movie. my family were really shocked to see me smiling widely one minute then crying in another. guan enlisted into the army last friday, so part of A01 met up to have dinner.                 ok i shall update more tml. ALLY IS SO CUTE! (she asked me to put it:D) only after you have started work that you really appreciate the weekends and of course every free time that you have got. I AM ADDICTED TO SHOPPING ONLINE. (bad, very bad) |
