HOLIDAYS, give me my straw hat i wana chill gosh i love piaky. she's a fantastic friend that i admit i don't meet much. but we click instantly when we do anyways. absolutely enjoyed my shopping trip with her. and yes we shall go out again soon to discover sashimi (i am cringing even as i type this) moving on to insane sunday. i got shushed at church. can you believe it? i have not been shushed since junior college. it is such a juvenile thing to be caught doing and therefore i do not appreciate one bit of it. and especially because i felt that i am wrongly shushed. ok so i might have been asking xinyu "all cows are female, true or false?' but we were whispering. and i felt the need to ask there and then before i forget. pastor mentioned cows or something that's what got me started and she didn't even say please. she just turned and said " can you two stop talking?" the entire service later, i kept imagining myself hurling my pen at her head. no sense of humour at all. and then when xinyu and i were walking down suntec, we accidentally blocked a little girl. she was in our way, so we stopped for her to move around us. but when she saw us stopped. she was mortified and she looked as if we were going to punish her. pretty hilarious. but the dad chided us jokingly that we were, i quote " disturbing a little girl" we managed to bump into jareth at PEDRO turns out we are pretty linked to him. and we learned something about him that day. the left escalator going up from city hall MRT is always faster than the right. i know, very mundane detail but still every bit as interesting! jareth wasn't the only one we bumped into turns out yanshun was in the vicinity as well! and i am really sorry for laughing in his face when i saw him. i just thought it was too much of a coincidence that it was funny. xinyu and i ended the night doing last minute shopping then it was followed with a late night chat at 7 eleven, drinking ice lemon tea mixed with sprite and pretending that it was beer instead. i love that i didn't have to worry about school or deadlines. don't you just love the holidays? :) |
