lego league 27th dec- 11 jan
the only time when i felt truly old was when i was volunteering for First Lego League.
i was surrounded by
teenagers and they never made me forget that i am so much older.
even so, they said i look old but my actions suggest otherwise. i am still deciding if that is a compliment.
but anyways great people there! (:
especially my group of team ushers.
superbly fun-loving gang!
trainings were a huge bunch of fun with them around.
and i have fond memories of veryVannessa and surprisingSebastian flying around the court making aeroplane noises as they 'flew'
then there is our very weird thai-influenced cheer.
oh and the endless laughter that ensues whenever and whatever.
how great that our sense of humour are all warped along the same lines.
i remember once after we were walking back from lunch at bishan, we were
laughing so hard.
pei shan couldn't stop laughing, as usual.
i have
photo evidence of her not being able to stop laughing. she can laugh straight for 10 minutes and i am talking about those intense laughter about some joke that was said 15 minutes ago.

i was never the tomboyish kind when i was young. so toys-wise, it's BARBIE all the way
(sometimes i play with ken doll but only because Barbie needs someone to marry). that's why i never ever touched lego. and after the lego league, i think it's a pity that i didn't. lego is actually surprisingly enjoyable.
and the lego technology now is awesome. the lego house that i did during trainings can be lifted up and down with the turning of the lever.
how cool is that?
peishan and lego polar bear.

sebas, filbert and vanessa caught in the act. (playing while working) haha anyway note the walkie talkies that we had.
seriously walkie talkies are so fun! sebas taught me how to make private connections through our walkie talkies. so we basically memorized our respectively numbers and disturb one another regularly. even when the person is just in front of us, we choose to communicate through the device.

aww so nostalgic to be blogging about this. i am supposed to organise a team ushers outing. i shall do that soon. (:
