monday blues
today's a bad day.
rushed down to school, got the same old problem with parking. next time i shall bring white paint and paint over the season parking red lots.
then when i finally got to my classroom, i was 15 minutes late for a tutorial that only lasts say 45minutes.
before i barged in notoriously late once again, i decided to take a peak. thank goodness i peaked, because the small group of people in there were obviously not my econs tutorial classmates. plus in the place of my mousy and eager tutor was a middle-aged balding man.
puzzled, i retraced a few steps and took a good look at the class number. block E1A-3-05. nah i was definitely in the right place. but something definitely was wrong. but i guess i could not be bothered and so i left.
went over to doby gaut only to get fined again at the ERP gantry because my stupid cashcard just won't work when i need it to work. (when i don't need it to work, it will just beep on and give me a scare in the process) At the second gantry i passed, i decided to hold the cashcard down while driving with my other free hand until i pass the gantry and hear the unmistakable beep of value being deducted.
then was the waiting for parking again. parking at prinsep street is horrible. i waited for quite long and i was very convinced i was going to die from the carbon monoxide seeping in as i left my car stationary for way too long.
and then viola a miracle happened, and i got a parking space only to find that i did not have coupons anymore. at this point, i was really desperate and decided to park at the neighboring sunshine plaza which has a cashcard payment parking.
finally happy to leave the car, i walked all the way to PS. while i was at the basement to withdraw money, i was shocked to find my atm card gone. i decided to go back to my car to find my card. actually looking back, i guess i was surprisingly calm at that point.
thankfully, my card was in my car. and so i walked back. just in time to meet up with the guys for lunch at cafe cartel.
but then, the cheap lunch set was sold out, so alex wanted to go mind cafe to eat instead.
so gosh i had to walk all the way back again. i think the only good thing about today was the playing boardgames part at mind.
but the day ended on a bad note, because when i left at 6, i realised my parking fee at sunshine plaza was a grand total of $12.00 i think.
pretty sure i used up a month's supply of bad luck in just one day.
yanru i need to borrow the shirt i bought you that says 'i hate mondays'
