when one can feel his or her own hip bone, it is time to worry. haha alright i think i am losing weight at a very alarming rate. the fact that i already don't have much to lose makes it much more alarming!
i think my daddy is going through some mid-life crisis. u know when they reach the a certain age( around 50), they start to get very weird and splurge on alot of stuff. i never thought my dad would actually splurge on material goods since he is such a stingy man. BUt to my horror, i found that he had just gotten himself a new 3G phone-the nokia N80 which is $700 +. This is the same man who always ask the salesperson cheekily for free stuff and scream at me when i buy something, anything. what the hell. i also want a new phone! i better try to influence him to buy me one since he's in such a state now. And i hope he doesn't go and buy himself a flashy red sports car. If that really happens, i would just die of embarrassment :S
yesterday was a really fun day i must say. me jaslyn and qiling went sun-tanning and swimming at qiling's condo. since i was late, i was given the holy task of searching the entire west area for sun-tanning lotion.
First stop: NTUC next to JEC
conclusion: no signs of sun-tanning lotion only lots of aunties trying to buy groceries
so i called qiling to ask her if she was desperate for the lotion. she said she was ,so i made my way to giant at IMM. halfway there, qiling called me and told me to go westmall or lot1 instead. so i did. While i was on the train, i was thinking why can't i just buy from yew tee (the mrt station nearest to qiling's condo)
so in the end, i bought the lotion at the Guardian at yew tee station. ( it was a tough choice between DARK tanning lotion and Golden tanning lotion- what's the difference you tell me. DARK tanning lotion won cause it was cheaper)
with the tanning lotion in my hand, i happily walked into qiling's condo while trying very hard not to catch the security guards' attention. Haha like what jaslyn said you can just walk in like you own the place even if you don't.

we practically baked ourselves under the scorching sun.
qiling's friends joined us after our swim. i can see how qiling's sense of humour came about. looking at them is VERY entertaining i must say.
anyway it was off to a study session for me and jaslyn. the study session gradually became a shopping/ chatting session.
