day 3 @ morey's piers it's been quite some time and i am quite burnt, homesick and hungry. the sun's shining awfully bright but the weather's as awfully cold, which brings me to a state of confusion. the apartment's disgusting even after major spring cleaning and let's not even talk about the state of the kitchen. currently, we are surviving on microwaved food and scrambled eggs with yogurt and fruits. I NEED TO EAT CHINESE FOOD SO BAD. laundry yesterday was interesting, i have only seen DIY laundry on american shows, so it feels strangely cool for me to be in one. and did i mention there are 6 girls in my apartment and only 1 bathroom?? haha but in any case, i am still happy to be here and hopefully things will look up in a few days time. :) anyway if i am slow in replying, it's because the internet here is horrible. we still don't have internet for our apartment so we are currently leeching on our neighbour's. ps: i still catch all my favourite shows like gossip girl despite the lousy internet. xinyu you should be ashamed of yourself. and xinyu i called you yest! but couldn't get through! |
