then and now i remember jaslyn once told me: 'if you keep it, it only says that you can't get over it. so you throw them away" throwing it away seemed harsh and i always thought that it was a sign of running away. i mean if you can't face it, you have not really gotten over it . that was my mentality for so long, but now, i really see how insignificant it is. it wasn't fair to put it up there with the other beautiful memories. it couldn't compare. its insignificance threatens to reduce the rest to nothingness. and i will not allow that. so i throw it away. not because i am running away, but because there is no reason for it to stay. a void. |
