okay guys when are we playing again? :D
Very
Special
Art :)
Europe day 2
on the way to vienna

the majestic palace. it's HUGE. we got to tour some of the rooms which have been preserved. can i say that i felt really weird. as in you keep having this feeling that many many years ago, the royal family is taking the exact same steps that you are taking, walking through the same doors and looking at the very same paintings. it's kind of creepy but enchanting at the same time. i felt that their presence still hangs around because their lives(in the forms of protraits and paintings) are documented in every single room and their personal possessions being displayed.
think your backyard is big? THINK AGAIN.

wave! :)

or jump:P

i happen to like this sight very much

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! haha

i totally don't get this. so am i supposed to paste a photo of my face there or what? what exactly is that in the first place?
look---> smart car. parking is much easier with it
speaking of cars, i passed my driving test! :D

Gothic church

SHOPPING!
i think the most memorable thing that i did was to attend a concert there. it wasn't part of the itinerary. we just bought the tickets off the streets of Vienna. and let me tell you, IT WAS FANTASTIC. i think the experience will live with me forever. it's one thing to attend a concert at esplanade but it's another whole new experience to watch a concert in vienna.
the thing that surprised me was how small scale the concert was. but it was very very cosy so that was nice. Held in a hall the size of a small school hall, the audience was very near to the performers. i could hear the birds chirping outside, the cool breeze floating in(no need for air-con trust me) and the sky darkening gradually as it approaches 10pm( the day is long in Europe man!). Most importantly, the performance was simply great. i especially love the oprea singing. it was sang with so much passion, it felt real and you just get drawn in:) but i have to admit, i was quite sleepy towards the end. the initial awe fades a little you know haha. you can't blame me, the atmosphere was too comfortable and it was like one mozart song after another. i always feel very sleepy listening to classical songs.
ok end of day 2*
