i am so burnt. it hurts to move. and i look like a lobster all because weilun decided to lounge around in the pool and TALK instead of SWIM now my shoulders are badly burnt. and its radiating heat even at this moment. cindy and i found out that old people love extorting money from students like us. we both made our ways separately to lun's condo but we met with similar incidents where we were being forced to give up our money for me, i was walking into the bus queue when this auntie started screaming at me i was quite confused at first but i remembered her shouting"$2, $2! take bus money" and she kept shoving her hands in front of me i was like "what?" and she immediately said"$1 then $1 $1.." and you know what i just gave it to her and she left me alone cindy's case was still ok the ahma wanted change to call someone cindy didn't have change so she gave the ahma all she had which is 20cents but the ahma keep insisting that she wanted change. so weird. what's wrong with the aunties above age 50? anyway i know that singapore has an ageing population problem but i did not know that it was this bad. when i was on the bus 178 to lun's condo i was surrounded by old people so i decided to do a little test during that 55 minutes bus journey(i sat till my bum felt numb--hey that rhymes:D) i only saw like 3 toddlers and a handful of people in their 30s the rest were all old people i tried calculating the dependency ratio there and then(since i was so bored) but the number of aged dependents was too alarming so i gave up but i reckon the dependency ratio must be super high. me and cindy caught lun's condo security guard slacking in the sauna in her full security guard uniform nevertheless i tried to peak into the sauna when she was about to open the door to the sauna she almost smashed my nose then i thought she was going to scold me in the end she was just very shocked that i was so tall and she kept asking me if i was modelling and whether i was a Singaporean! i think later on she was trying to bribe me and cindy (cause we caught her slacking you see haha) she offered to let us use the sauna she thought we were residents i think she felt cheated when we had to ask lun(who was already showering in the guy's bathroom) for his block number sunday was fun we should do this more often :) |
